The abortion fighting that’s happening on my dash right now is great

I’m pretty sure that if I were to have sex at this point in time it would be for pleasure, certainly not to make a baby.

If I were to get pregnant, then I’d have an abortion.

Freak out all you want, as long as it’s legal (and stays legal because IT’S MY CHOICE AND MY BODY K THANKS), it’s happening. I’d never give birth and put my child up for adoption. Ever. THAT would be irresponsible of me.

Adoption is irresponsible! ?? But not killing your baby which is part of you? How about doing the really only responsible thing and not have SEX .! So tricking naive.

This is one of the saddest things I think I’ve ever heard.  Adoption isn’t irresponsible it’s selfless.  It’s about putting someone’s needs above and before your own.

There are thousands of children in the system now. It’s a system full of abuses that few get out of- my little brother did, but he came out with physical and emotional scars. You’re not giving them to a great family. You’re shoving them into a system where they are extremely unlikely to be adopted (only 8% of kids up for adoption even have social workers actively working on their case. Almost 70 percent of the children waiting to be adopted have been in continuous foster care for two years or more; twenty-five percent for five years or more.) and if they age out, prospects are grim. Half won’t graduate from high school, one-quarter will be homeless for a while, and more than half will be unemployed within a year or two of leaving the child-welfare system. Sixty-six percent of them will be homeless, go to jail or die within one year of leaving the foster care system at 18. At least 75% will be sexually abused while in foster care. 

I’m responsible enough not to add to that problem. I’m sorry that you are not.

Plenty people everyday have this problem. Should we have killed them too? it’s up to the individual to either grow from their life experiences, or let it ruin them

Watch out for VD;crabs;HPV;genital warts etc. The adoption /foster care argument is better than it was and there is private adoption. I fear someday you will regret your words.Oh and if your going to engage in pre-marital sex and be promiscuous use birth control!. Hopefully your smart enough to at least do that. Coitus interruptus doesn’t count. Abortion is still murderer.

16, soon to be 17, and very, very excited for my birthday! Thank you very much! Yes, I am very responsible and I know a lot about birth control! I have had my HPV vaccination, so thanks for being so concerned! I don’t think I’ll ever regret the decisions I have made or will continue to make because I am very responsible and I know what I’m doing. And wow, okay, so now having sex before I’m married means that I’m promiscuous? What if I only have sex with one person before I get married…what exactly does that have to do with anything? Also, great use of extra-long words to try to make your argument seem even more valid! And wow, I didn’t know abortion was a person now! Holy crap, when was anyone ever going to tell me?!
